Successful remove accretion in location with high temperature (up to 1500℃) Uptake throat scraper is designed to removing build up accretion on Uptake throat with temperature 1500℃ The Uptake throat scraper is to keep the top surface of the flash furnace uptake sill ledge free of build-up accumulation Main function is as follows

• Scraper is designed the two water-cooled scrapers in and out of the uptake with 2,400mm stroke hydraulic cylinder.
• Flow capacity shall be for one scraper or one door to actuate at one time. Cylinder strokes shall be staggered so that one cylinder shall complete its forward and return stroke cycle before the other cylinder starts its cycle
• Cycle frequency is initially one cycle per 30 minutes and varied according to actual operations experience

• Copper smelting.
• Aluminum / Nickel smelting.
• Removing accretion in Furnace (Up to 1300 ℃)

• Bore- 125 mm
• Rod- 90 mm
• Stroke- 2400 mm (with 127 mm stop tube)
• Forward stroke speed shall be variable between 0 and 80 mm per second.
• The return stroke speed shall be the same as the advance speed or up to 20% faster
• A proportional valve shall be used for the scraper cylinder circuit.

• Anticipated sizing of the power pack is system is 100 LPM at 90 bar.
• Sizing to be verified by the hydraulic supplier with the bid
• Nominal operating pressure – 83 bar
• Maximum operating pressure – 90 bar
• Relief valve pressure – 104 bar, unless otherwise noted
• System design pressure – 210 bar
• All components shall be pressure tested to 210 bar
